We kept coming back for the food here, many varieties of dishes to try out. This time we tried a new dish, and very satisfied with it. Service was great, did not have to wait for long time.

They were so nice over the phone. Also, they were quick with our to-go order. The individual who rang up our order was kind enough to add soup to the order for my BFx2 at the last minute. The ambiance was love and clean. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy Cantonese food. I plan on going back.

My family and I had two portions of grilled chicken steak ($15.95) (with black pepper sauce and mushroom sauce) and seafood curry ($14.95). The grilled chicken steaks come as large portions, and we had leftovers. The chicken tasted very delicious and made me feel nostalgic since I haven't eaten this dish in a long while. The black pepper sauce tasted savory, but the mushroom sauce tasted unfortunately bland. With a bland flavor, the mushrooms tasted worse off. The grilled chicken steak dishes came with mashed potatoes, corn, and broccoli. I liked how they sautéed their broccoli, but the mashed potatoes had a subpar texture and flavor. The seafood curry tasted delicious and spicy. We'd have our dishes again, but Garden Bistro had such a large menu that I'd rather explore other options. The pizzas definitely caught my attention, and I'd come back to try the fusion-style dishes. The ambience and service were fine, but nothing impressed upon me that this restaurant goes above and beyond in these areas.

First time here! We ordered the Beijing duck pizza which took about 15-20 minutes to get, it was made to order. Never had duck pizza before but now I can say it's one of my favorites. The duck had so much flavor, and there was also some duck skin too which added a nice crunch. I like that some arugula was on top of the pizza to balance the saltiness. Like any other pizza though, it is quite oily, but if you're looking for a unique pizza would highly recommend trying this place

Authentic cantonese/hk style food is hard to find outside of 626 and I really love this. Friend found it and I'm ELATED to have a new favorite place. Should know better that there's something like this in diamond plaza... since i've been here a lot for other places. Two guys, this was enough food, could eat a little more but this is fine. The curry stew has a good amount of tendon or others so not enough meat if I was eating alone but the flavor is similar to what I'm used to eating near San Francisco. There's even tons of other interesting italian fusion items like a duck pizza???Very interested in trying these! Looking forward to repeating at least 2-3 times minimum probably more because in OC - there's nothing like this. Sure there's Tasty Garden in Irvine but this place just has it better I think. Had a slight wait on a Sunday evening but definitely worth it and it's not that long anyways. Lots of seating inside, you can be semi-close to other tables but I like that there's efficient use of space and lots of tables rather than wasting space!! True to cantonese style, little bit of noise but no issue talking.

Ah gone are the days of my childhood with the old Garden Cafe of Rowland Heights, but I'm glad there's at least Garden Bistro. It's the same owner as the old Garden, so at least there's commonalities. The food is old school Hong Kong Asian and Western fusion food, dating back to when Hong Kong was a British colony. Most of us with immigrant parents from Hong Kong are accustomed to this kind of cuisine. This hit the spot. We came as a party of 5, which included my parents, my husband, and our 15 month old. Service was extremely friendly. Without asking, we were given a booth to accommodate the baby. We ordered baked Bolognese, 2 orders of the fried chicken steak with spaghetti, seafood curry, and oxtail stew. For an extra $3.50 my husband added a milk tea with his meal which comes with one free refill. Everything was delicious. We pretty much demolished everything. The Bolognese is as flavorful and guilty as I remember. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We love mixing the extra spaghetti with the Bolognese sauce. The chicken plate also came with zucchini, corn, and mashed potatoes. The curry was flavorful and the oxtail stew was amazing. Unlike the old days you don't get a complimentary bowl of soup with your orders anymore; you have to pay extra. While it's not exactly the Garden Cafe from my childhood, it is a close rendition with similar foods that my whole favorite enjoy. And now my baby and husband enjoy it too.

Let me just say, the menu at Garden Bistro is huge! There's so many options and a good variety from pasta to steak to pizza. From the chef's special menu, the Roasted miso cod fillet with shiitake, sea urchin udon and grilled filet mignon, along with the Grilled rib eye with shrimp were delicious! I love the creaminess and flavor to the udon, the filet mignon was cooked perfectly medium rare but you have the choice to how you want your steak cooked. The ribeye was on the thinner side but portion was still generous. I love the fusion and HK-style of the dish, the steak was paired with a classic black pepper sauce. The garlic butter shrimp was my favorite part of the order. Can't wait to come back and try the pizza and pasta!
